I am still totally flabbergasted that James is four months old and that it's time to start introducing cereal. I just don't understand where the time is going! I knew the start of his life would go quickly due to football season but it just seems like it was yesterday that he was born and here we are starting him on real food.
We waited until we got home from New Orleans and then the following Saturday tried some rice cereal. He was, of course, thoroughly underwhelmed and we haven't tried it again but we'll get there eventually. I just wonder how parents find time to feed their second and subsequent kids real food! It seems like it would be easier to just stick with nursing until he can eat what his sister's eating! We'll make time but it's just another adjustment!
Without further ado, here is Jamesy-boy eating rice cereal.
He really didn't know what to do. He didn't stick his tongue out against the spoon or anything but he just didn't really open his mouth. He was a little fussy for the rest of the day so we decided to wait a few weeks to try it again. We'll see if we try again later this week and how that goes!

He is precious! So handsome!
