On Tuesday night (the 17th) Jason was upstairs giving Charlotte a bath after dinner and I was downstairs entertaining James. At this age that doesn't take much but we've been trying to focus on tummy time when we can because man is it hard to find time to lay a second child on his tummy! Poor thing rarely gets any time on his tummy on the floor but since he still hasn't rolled over we've been working harder to give him more opportunities.
So he was down on the floor and was kicking his torso up but he couldn't get it. So I started rolling him over from his tummy and then back to his tummy to show him how it's done. His arm started staying under him and I thought he might be close and so I turned my camera on to see. Without even much more prodding he was able to do it once his arm was tucked under his head! Even though it's not totally without a little bit of positioning I'm still counting it as his first roll! Especially since he repeated it a handfull of times after I got the camera off!
Good job Jamesy! (And please excuse my high pitched talking and squealing on the camera. I was excited!)
