Neighborly Gathering

On the Wednesday before Christmas we met at my parents house to eat dinner with their neighbor's.  Our families have become friends since my parents moved into their house four years ago and we like to get together as a group when everyone's home from college and free.  We had a great night with them even though we had to leave early to get Charlotte to bed!  I hear the ping pong tournament was intense!

We got there before anyone else and Charlotte went straight to the tree and pulled out her present to play with.  This present was wrapped amzingly well and has withstood Charlotte diving and rolling all over it as well as sitting on it and using it as a drum!  Here she is doing a little diving.  Notice the present is standing in the first picture and flat in the second!

Then Charlotte got her play Santa's and showed them around the house.

Charlotte loves sitting on the bottom step of the stairs and she usually pats the stair next to her and says someone's name.   In this instance she wanted Memma to sit with her!

Once the neighbor's got here Charlotte was all about Miss Talitha.  She sometimes gets confused and calls her Nicki since that's their dog's name and C LOVES their dog but she also sometimes calls her "T-ta" like Talitha's neices and nephews did!

Miss T-ta was sweet to play with Charlotte and C loved all of the attention!

After dinner the boys started playing ping pong we sat around the upstairs tree.  I love this picture of C.  She just loves the lights and ornaments.  It's going to be a hard day when the tree's come down!
