Atlanta Trip part 1

This weekend we had the pleasure of joining my family in Atlanta for the kick-off of Alabama's football season! It was our first real road trip with Charlotte and we were a little nervous about how it would go, but she was such a trooper! She did really great in the car and did lots of fun things like went to her first Braves game and swam for her first time!

I loved putting her at the pillows on the king size bed and taking a picture of her up there. Look how small she is!! Sadly, she slept in her small pack and play and it was obvious that the pack and play might not last through the season like we had hoped. She was almost touching on both ends! We do have a few more inches though so hopefully it will last for at least a few weeks!

Charlotte was great at her first Braves game! She wore her pink Braves onesie and seemed to enjoy watching all of the people. She was pretty content and actually fell asleep for a while. It made us feel good about taking her to Bryant Denny in a few weeks. We have accepted the fact that we're definitely not going to last for a whole game, but hopefully we'll get to see a few downs! Charlotte was super excited that her Uncle Charlie joined us at Turner Field! However, she was a little overwhelmed so we didn't want to make Charlie hold her! :)

On Saturday morning we took Charlotte swimming in the hotel pool. We have been sad that we can't get her out at the pool at home since she can't really be in the sun without sunscreen. We thought that she would love the pool since she really loves bath time. She was a little timid and unsure and never cried at all until she got out and got cold. I'm looking forward to many summers spent at the pool so I hope she loves the water as much as I do!
Next up.... shopping in her Alabama onesie and pre-game festivities!

  1. Dark pinkish/red is definitely Charlotte's color!
We went to Decatur this weekend and on the way back, poor Grace threw up. It. was. BAD! I love your banner. I finally figured out how to add text to a banner using Lunapic but how do you add pictures to a banner? I'm sure you're glad to be home! Thanks!

  3. I don't know what pictures I like best...the ones from the Braves game or the pool ones. So much cuteness in one post. Can't wait to see part 2!
