Baby no longer

I realized recently that I hardly take any pictures with my "good" camera at anything other than special occasions.  I also realized that I haven't been taking a lot of pictures of James.  So one afternoon I set out to rectify that situation!  

I love these pictures and when I started looking through them I was struck with how NOT like a baby James is these days.  He has grown so much but its hard to see it when you are with him almost every second of the day.  His hair is longer and in need of a haircut that I can't bring myself to take him for.  He's crawling and scooting and pulling up and acting like he's going to stand up by himself any day now.  He babbles and interacts and mimics words that you say to him almost like he knows what he's doing.  He is growing up right under my nose and while I'm loving watching him grow it also makes me a little sad!

Regardless, I think these pictures capture James pretty well these days.  Making silly faces.  Laughing and giggling a lot.  Fascinated with his linky rings.  All over the place.  And just so joyful.  What a blessing this little boy is to our lives!
