The sleeping arrangements at the condo were definitely different. James was in his pack and play in Charlotte's room instead of in his own room. This made it hard to get him up 30 minutes earlier than Charlotte in order to feed him. Another difference was that there were no blackout curtains so the rooms got very light very early which the kids aren't used to.
The first morning Charlotte just got up when we got James up to eat in the morning. On the second morning Jason and I got up a few minutes early to get ready. While he was brushing his teeth in our bathroom and I was putting on mascara in our room in walked Charlotte! She said that she heard us so that she thought it was time to get up! We thought it was hilarious since she has never so much as stepped a toe off of her bed since we moved her to her big girl bed! Definitely goes to show that on vacation anything goes!
So after I fed James we headed downstairs to eat breakfast at Sugga Pies. Charlotte enjoyed her blueberry muffin and we enjoyed some eggs and bacon. If you're in Rosemary Beach you should definitely check them out for breakfast!
We then went on a little walk down the green headed towards the playground. Charlotte loved racing Daddy across the grass!
Once we got to the playground Charlotte was in heaven! She has apparently conquered her fear of swings and jumped on the tire swing and the big girl swing and wanted to go as high as Daddy would push her! She also loved climbing up in the treehouse and going down the big slide all by herself! James was content to hang out in the Baby Bjorn with me or in the baby swing.
After some time on the playground we headed back to the condo for James' nap. After he woke up and I fed him, Jason fixed him and Charlotte some pizza and I headed to the outlets to get some clothes for everyone in the family. It was a long drive but I got some good deals! When I got back it was almost time to get the kids up and head back to the beach. Charlotte was so excited!
This picture cracks me up because Charlotte got as close to the water as the top of the sand before it slopes down to meet the water. And she stayed there for approximately .2 seconds until a wave rolled in and she ran back to me in the tent! Don't think she didn't have anything to do though! She enjoyed "roll polly-ing" (i.e. literally rolling around) on the sand and playing with her shells that Daddy found for her!
We headed back to let James take another nap and took showers to get ready for dinner. Even though we were exhausted from our fun day we enjoyed our dinner at The Summer Kitchen Cafe. If you go make sure you try the crab claws, they were fantastic! The kids perked up after dinner but at the start they were pretty tired....
After dinner we headed down to the main boardwalk to get some pictures. It was sunny but I still think they turned out good!
We headed back to The Sugar Shak to get Charlotte some candy as a reward for being such a good girl. She chose a box of animal crackers and a candied watermelon slice again and thoroughly enjoyed them both!

What a precious day! I love all of your pictures!
