Pearly Whites

We knew that James was teething recently but hadn't seen any proof of why our normally calm baby had turned a little fussy.  But on Thursday, March 15 while James was screaming while I changed his diaper I noticed something white in his mouth and when I checked I was rewarded with a tooth that was barely peeking through.  Over the next few days the front right tooth continued to come up and by Saturday, the 17th, the edges of both teeth had poked through!

After trying to feed James cereal on Saturday, I decided to try and get pictures of his teeth.  Thus began a hide and seek game where I was the mean Mommy holding his mouth open and taking pictures while he screamed.  Fun times....

But don't worry, by the end he was just getting a kick out of sticking his tongue over his teeth so that I couldn't get a picture!

Maybe the biggest change that this means?  No more biting on Mommy and Daddy's fingers!  I forgot how razor sharp baby teeth are when they first come in!
