Presents Galore

In preparation for James we thought through some "happies" that we wanted to get for Charlotte from us and for her and James to exchange.  The transition to a big sister can't be an easy one but, thankfully, I don't remember any of it from when Charlie was born so I'm sure she won't remember any of the "trauma" either.  But we wanted to try and make it as easy as possible so we found some fun things for both of them!

Big Sister Present #1

In mid-August we gifted Charlotte with her first tricycle as her first big sister present.

Big Sister Present #2

Tonight we will let Charlotte open up a Color Wonder lap desk, coloring books, and markers to keep her occupied while in the waiting room and at the hospital.

Charlotte's Present to James

Charlotte picked out a travel sleep sheep to give to James on his birthday!

James' Present to Charlotte

We got the impression that James would like for Charlotte to have some fun things for the hospital so we filled a Minnie tin lunchbox with stickers, crayons, a coloring pad, a small book, a small fuzzy ball, and new sunglasses and Charlotte will get to open this present at the hospital when she gives James his present!

One thing that we would have gotten for Charlotte if we knew about is a personalized Big Sister book. Thankfully our sweet friends Ben and Christen came through with this for Charlotte and she couldn't love it any more!  It's a really neat book and I would highly recommend getting one if you're looking for something for a new big sister or brother!
