Happy Birthday America!

July 4th dawned bright and clear and we got up ready for our neighborhood parade.  We had borrowed Memma and Papa's golf cart the night before and had fun decorating it with streamers and balloons.  Charlotte was so excited to get to the parade!

Charlotte loved her flag and had a blast waving it around before the parade started.  She was also really excited to watch the big fire truck arrive!  It was finally parade time and we loaded into the golf cart for the national anthem.

After the parade there were cookies and Charlotte had a fun time enjoying them, running around, and meeting some neighborhood dogs that she hadn't yet met.

We headed to the pool to cool down after the parade and after swimming with her friend Mia, Charlotte put on a little show for us in her chair while we waited on our food!

We were all exhausted by the time we headed home and Charlotte took a good nap.  That afternoon we just rested around the house and Charlotte snuggled with Daddy.
