As we get closer and closer to James' arrival, we have been busy getting ready for him! Charlotte can't wait for him to get here and keeps checking his room to see if he's here yet. She finally got that he has to come out of Mommy's tummy before we can get him and keeps saying, "James, come out of Mommy's tummy! Get him at hospital!" We'll see if she's that excited when he actually does all of that!
Our new double stroller came in and Charlotte and Sandy took it for a test drive. I love the way it steers and feels and that James can go straight into it since it fully reclines. I'm sure it will be heavy with both of them in it, but I like it from the onset so that's good!
We've also been doing lots of laundry! We've gotten a few things since I washed clothes that now need to be washed but for the most part everything is washed and put away. And miracle of miracles, James' bag for the hospital is already packed!
Charlotte and I also set out to pick out something for James for Charlotte to give him. After pointing out a lot of really loud toys or toys that were more for her age than for him, we finally settled on a travel sleep sheep and Charlotte loves him and keeps talking about giving him to Baby James. Hopefully that will be a fun little exchange when she meets him.
We are definitely counting days and ready to meet our little man. The house isn't 100% ready and there's no infant car seat in the car yet, but we're getting closer!
