Celebrating both birthday girls!

I've avoided talking about Kelly and Tripp's move away from here, mostly because it's been very hard for me to think about.  But the big day started drawing nearer and I was happy to know that we were going to get to celebrate the girls' birthday's one more year together.  Charlotte and Caroline were born 364 days apart -- May 22nd and May 23rd -- and that year has meant a big difference up until now.  But in the past few months they have started playing together more and more and recently Charlotte started using Caroline's name when she talked about her.

So we all got together the night before Charlotte's birthday to celebrate Charlotte and Caroline!  Charlotte was very excited to have Caroline, Miss Kelly, and Mr. Tripp over and wanted to go outside and wait on them.

Once they got here we ate dinner and then the girls were chomping at the bits to exchange gifts!  Sadly, the two pregnant Momma's were just concerned with making sure the girls behaved and didn't pull our camera's out.  We later ate some cake to celebrate the two birthday's and then the girls left us to hang out in the study.  When we followed them we found them up on top of the slide with Caroline "reading" to Charlotte!

These two sweet girls are going to miss each other but we know they'll get to see each other as often as we can manage!
