Travel help??

Soon Jason and I are headed off to Beaver Creek, Colorado with Kelly and Tripp for a little couple's trip.  We've been planning this ski trip since we won the trip at a live auction in August and are really excited to be going together especially since Kelly and Tripp are moving back to Mississippi soon and our frequent time together will turn into very infrequent times together.

We love traveling with Kelly and Tripp and have had so much fun on trip's together over the years!

Anyway, after that trip down memory lane :) you can see that we've had some fun trips together! I'm sure we'll have more in the future even though they're leaving, this trip is still probably going to be our big send off trip for the time being what with  Max arriving in September and all.  So we're hoping to have such a great time even though I, obviously, won't be joining in on the skiing fun.

But that brings me to the actual point of this post....advice!  Has anyone been to Beaver Creek and have recommendations for places to go/things for all of us to do/things for me to do while they're skiing? (We've got reservations at Beano's Cabin and Spago.)  What about advice for weathering the high altitude? Or advice on how to bring my husband back from this trip in one piece?? :) We don't want any broken bones on this trip! Any advice would be appreciated and prayer for a safe, fun filled trip with good stays with the grandparents for our girls would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  4. Just remembered. Drink lots of water to help with the altitude. I had a couple of headaches while there. Water definitely helps! You will have a great time!
