Santa Brunch

On Sunday morning we met Memma, Papa G, and Char-Char for a Santa Brunch.  I knew that this was our last chance at a Santa picture this year so I really wanted to get one of Charlotte and Santa.  On Saturday morning I tried talking it up to her telling her we were going to see Santa on Sunday and she got excited and started saying "Ho Ho!" enthusiastically but when I asked her if she was going to sit on Santa's lap her face got real serious and she gave me a long "Noooooo."  Mom and Dad somehow talked her in to it and when we left for the brunch her answer to the Santa's lap question was a "Yeah". 

When we got there she saw Santa and was so excited and wanted to go see him and was yelling "Ho Ho!" when we didn't go over there fast enough.  But as we got closer to him her grasp on me got tighter and tighter.  As you can see our first try before brunch didn't go well....

But then she got a balloon puppy dog and some yummy bacon and grilled cheese in her and she was a little better about Santa.  Still wouldn't sit by herself though.

But in the end we did get this picture which I'd say is a pretty good Santa shot from this year!
