We got home Friday night and got to enjoy a full weekend at home which was really nice. We just spent the weekend hanging out as a family. Charlotte got to experience her first piece of Halloween candy due to her Daddy feeling bad that she wasn't getting to eat any of it. So she really loved a mini Milky Way!
On Sunday Jason got to play golf after church since he was on Dad duty while I was gone. Charlotte and I took a trip to the grocery store and she loved waving to the cows at the bottom of the mountain. She also found her boots that I bought at Target a few weeks ago! She hasn't wanted to take them off since!

Monday was a day of catch up and also we went out to try and get a few more things for around the house. Charlotte's favorite part of the day was finding a Santa doll that she could play with and also a new puppy dog (we named him "Biscuit") at Hobby Lobby. She also got into the marching band spirit when we got home with some pot lids. And she learned to smile when we ask her to say "Cheese!" That night she also got to wear her Christmas pj's for the first time and spent some time reading her Christmas Marley book to Biscuit.
Such an adoring look at her new puppy with her new Santa under the other arm!
Cymbals!
Cheeeeeeese!
Our first night in Christmas pj's! The holiday's start early at our house!
Tuesday was gym day and she got worn out resulting in me having a hard time waking her up from her afternoon nap! She was zonked!

Wednesday took a downward turn as I came down with some cold/sinus stuff. I was pretty pathetic all day but Charlotte enjoyed watching the CMA's with Jason that night! She also loved sharing her snack with Luca and Biscuit that afternoon!
Overall it's been a busy few weeks and I just got a chance to breathe again this morning since I feel much better as long as I have a good dose of Nyquil/Dayquil in me and we're with Mom and Dad which means lots more hands to keep up with C. Hopefully I'll keep improving so that I'll be able to make the game this weekend. We're going to try making a handprint ornament again this afternoon so I'm sure I'll have quite the story to tell later!
