Charlotte Right Now

I have all these cute pictures that I want to post but no real theme other than, this is life for us right now!

Charlotte loves her stuffed animals these days.  Her absolute favorite is her stuffed bear that we used to chart her growth during her first year.  Her cousins Sam and Abby (and Uncle Carrie and Uncle Scott!) gave that bear to Charlotte for Christmas 2008 -- that means before we even knew that she was a Charlotte and just called her Baby Mo!  Every morning when we wake her up we spend some time being handed all of her stuffed animals in her bed usually while she clutches her bear.  Eventually we'll get her to lift her arms up at which point we'll take her and her bear to get her diaper changed.  This picture was taken on the way to my grandparent's house on July 3rd after a really long day already for Jason's family reunion.  She was sleepy and wouldn't let her bear go so he went with us in the car.  Thankfully despite her attachment it's not so great that she can't sleep without him.  We're done with her passy and are trying to not replace it with anything like a blanket or animal.  Hopefully we'll be able to do it!

Charlotte loves soccer!  I don't know if she was inspired by the World Cup or her friends Meg and Sally but Charlotte has taken an immediate like to soccer.  Now that she's walking she will literally kick her ball around the house while she's walking!  It's funny to walk and it amazes me that she's that coordinated since she still can't get up from sitting to walking without pulling up on something, but she is great at it!

Charlotte is still pulling things out of the cabinets with amazing speed!  In these pictures she's lifting out two nested mixing bowls and then gets them out of each other.  We are constantly picking up big messes when she goes to sleep each time but I think she's having fun and that's all that matters right?!?!

Charlotte loves her drawing table and she loves crayons.  She does draw some but mostly she just puts them in the drawer in her table and then pulls them out of the drawer.  No one can deny that she's the child of two engineers!
