Happy Birthday Mom!

Mom,

Today we celebrate the day that you were born and I have never been more thankful that you were my Mom until this past year.  I could not have made it through my first year of motherhood without you to go to for advice and encouragement.  All my life you have been there for me.  You were there cheering me on at field day in elementary school, pulling congratulations balloons out of the cabinet when I made cheerleader, taking care of me after the wreck, moving me in to Tutwiler, and helping me celebrate my wedding.  I am so very, very blessed to have you as my Mom.  You have truly shown me what it means to be an excellent mother.  Thank you for your wonderful example, your advice, your encouragement, and most of all your unconditional love.  I don't deserve to have a Mom as great as you are but that's why you're one of God's greatest gifts.
