On Christmas Day after exchanging presents with my parents and brother, my Mom's family came over to celebrate the holiday. We always have so much fun with them! There are cousins ranging from 25 (me) to 9 (Abby) and then Charlotte! We enjoyed a yummy lupper (lunch and supper -- it was at 2:30 pm) and then opened presents once Charlotte woke up from her nap!

Gramme's name is pronounced like Grammy. I've recently wondered how she got the spelling that she did. Is it something that I just started doing when I was little or was there a reason? If anyone in the family knows this please let me know!

We really enjoyed fellowshipping together. One of my cousins is waiting to get her travel papers so that she can go and spend two years as a missionary in a foreign country. We were expecting her to have already traveled to her new country but were so glad that she was still with us! (Although, she is really ready to go and frustrated about the length of time it is taking for her papers to come through -- please pray for a speedy resolution please!) The only damper on the day was because I was progressively feeling worse throughout the day so I didn't get to join in the "reindeer games" as much as I would have liked to. Overall though we had a splendid afternoon with everyone!
