Christmas with Caroline (and her family!)

Last Saturday Kelly, Tripp, and Caroline came over to enjoy dinner and some Christmas fun!  The boys had played golf that day in 40 degree, sopping wet weather and so we wanted to get together to see each other before they left to go home for Christmas.  We had such a good time with them!  They were nice enough to let me try out my recipes for what I'm cooking on Christmas Eve for Jason's family (especially nice since the pie crust didn't work and we had to go to plan b for dessert -- cupcakes!).  It has become so much fun to see Charlotte and Caroline interact!  Whereas Charlotte used to just sit and watch Caroline she is now reaching out and touching her and they played on the floor together.  I can't wait to watch them grow up even more over the years!

Caroline was fascinated with Charlotte's jumper.  Even when Charlotte wasn't in it she was playing with it!  And Charlotte didn't mind sharing! She just jumped up and down happy to have someone close to her size to play with!

I thought it was so sweet that when we put the girls in the chair Charlotte put her hand on Caroline's shoulder.  Sadly, I couldn't get both of them smiling in that pose but it's still sweet!

Here they are smiling! Do we have the cutest two girls or what?!?!

Next up presents! So much more fun this year now that Caroline can definitely tear in to presents and we have a little one too!

Caroline loved her panda BlaBla doll!

We found that Charlotte can tear paper off a present like a pro but it isn't to get to the present...it's to get the paper in her mouth!!

One picture of the girls before bedtime!

Thanks Kelly, Tripp, and Caroline for coming over and celebrating our first Christmas celebration this year!  We love having y'all as friends!
