Miracle Bash

We had a lot of fun last night at the bash for our local hospital's Women's and Children's hospital! The party was at the new hotel in town which was fun because we hadn't been in the new hotel yet. There were TONS of people there which is great. I think they raised a lot of money. We loved getting to see Jenni again after her bed rest. Baby Kate is apparently now content to stay put for at least a little while longer. We had fun eating dinner with Kelly, Tripp, and Caroline before the party so that we could see Caroline.

Possibly the most fun of the night though was the silent auction. We didn't want to "tip our hand" too early so we waited until about 10 minutes before the auction closed to place any bids. Thankfully we got the item that we really wanted! It's a package from a general contractor with options to do any number of things like built in bookcases, closets, painting, crown moulding and chair rail, etc. We'll have to see what we can agree upon for him to do but we're excited! Just the thought of getting our closet re-done is making my heart pitter-patter in excitement!
